Rohtang Pass is open from late May to mid-November, depending on snowfall. The best months are:
- May–June — Snow still present, great for snow activities
- July–August — Lush green landscapes but heavy rain possible
- September–October — Clear skies, best views, fewer crowds

📋 Permit Requirements
Since 2021, a permit is mandatory to visit Rohtang Pass. Only 1,200 petrol vehicles and 300 diesel vehicles are allowed per day.

🚗 How to Get There
